More About My Practicum!

For my practicum I enrolled in CPSP359S - Discovery Research. This classed focused on coming up with a research topic and examining the question and the different ways that question could be answered. I had to form my own research question and find primary and secondary sources in order to help me find answers to my question. My research question was "how social media effects teenagers ability to communicate in real life."

CPSP359S has allowed me to form a research question on a subject that interests me and learn different ways to answer that question. I learned how to find primary and secondary sources and examine the sources. Before taking the class I had never written a literature review and it taught me how to pull my sources together and find what they had in common. This class allowed me to learn the steps of a research project and what it takes to find your own answers to the question.
